Agate Housing and Services (formerly St. Stephen’s Human Services and House of Charity) merged on January 1, 2021 to become one organization and launched the new name on May 1, 2022.  We have over six decades of history of involvement in providing vital resources to our unhoused and food insecure neighbors. Now, nearly 70 years since the first generous actions by our founders, the organization is growing and improving. In 2021, the organization reached over 5,000 individuals through programs offering food, shelter, housing, case management and substance use disorder treatment. Our programs operate 365 days a year because we know that hunger and homelessness don’t take a day off; so neither will we. To learn more, visit www.agatemn.org.
