Resources to help you stay in your home
For those who are in need of rental assistance, please send an email with your request to prevention@agatemn.org.
To qualify:
- You must be a Hennepin County resident
- Must have a court-filed eviction through Hennepin County with a court date.
- Need to show a payment made towards balance owed within the last 4 months. (Must be a tenant payment not from another program)
- Have a household income 30% AMI
You will be asked to provide proof of income/change in income, lease, ledger/notice from the property owner showing the amount owed, the W9 for the property, and a copy of the court filed eviction.
A prevention case manager will support you with applying for the RentHelpHennepin benefit if you are eligible.
