Suzanne never thought she would be homeless. But she confronted her abusive partner about some missing belongings. This led to Suzanne ending up in the hospital with broken bones, severe PTSD, and no home.
She stayed in a home for survivors of domestic violence to begin healing. Suzanne was soon referred to Agate to continue her journey to healing and a home.
Today, Suzanne is healing from her experience and finding new courage and hope. She is finally able to make a new plan for her future. Plans like a home. And a way to care for other people who have experienced abuse.
For Suzanne, that home would mean stability, safety, and healing.
